Ordination and Indian Name
My ordination was done on the morning of Sunday, November 14th, 2004 at the Red Earth Church In The Wilderness morning services. This page is to stand as a testament of my thanks to the body of Christ to bestow this honor on me. I thank my God for the opportunity to serve him. The Indian name was given to me by Faith Chosa of the Apsaalooke (Crow) Indian tribe in southern Montana. I will forever be grateful for the honored name and to her for giving it to me.
Ordination:
Narrative of Ordination ,
In recognition that John McCabe, after satisfactory examination in regard to his Christian experience, call to the ministry, and views of Bible doctrine, is solemnly and publicly set apart and ordained and appointed to the work of the Gospel as in Ephesians 4:11 equipping minister to prepare the Body of Christ for the work of the ministry by the authority and order of the Red Earth Church In The Wilderness on the 14th day of November, 2004, with all honor and responsibility commensurate with the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Indian Name:
Narrative of naming,
A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches (Proverbs 22:1); it is better then precious ointment (Ecclesiastes 7:1) because a good name imparts nature and character; therefore, the Lord desires to impart to you a good indigenous name to give to you spiritual stature among the Apsaalooke people and throughout Native America. Let it be known today, that your new, Indian name is: Bax baa doxee lash; "Eagle Warrior Rising"
